Meet the Founder
 Lady Reign Joy Olugu

Reign Academy was founded by Ms Reign Joy, who completed her master’s degree programme at the University of Hertfordshire with a commendation in International Relations. Prior to this, she had obtained Qualified Teacher’s Status (QTS) and a PGCE in Primary Education in 2008, including Coaching and Senior Leadership qualifications, and numerous other qualifications and certificates, including a BSC in Accountancy.

Introduction

The ability to write effectively and articulate fluently through written work is a skill that many students lack. It is often neglected, and failure to address it soon enough acts as a barrier to the progress of students throughout their academic journey. It is fundamental that children are taught how to develop and master the techniques of writing, as such a skill, even if not directly assessed through an English exam, is a strong enabler of their success when it comes to having to clearly portray a narrative they are tasked with doing.

Here at Reign Academy, we place heavy emphasis on developing our students’ writing capabilities, English Mastery, Math Mastery and problem-solving skills that involve verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

Method of Delivery

The work we do at Reign Academy through in-person and online tuition provides organic opportunities for students to learn how to be active participants in their own learning (self-learn) and or work together in small groups as peer tutors to advance language, instil confidence and literary eloquence, and build confidence as learners. This as well as ensuring that students excel in their exams ranging from 11+, 12+, 13+, SATs, Maths and English GCSE, and beyond and excel in this highly competitive world. 

We use an outstanding teacher and highly erudite tutors from top universities to provide students with the skills and abilities required to face the challenges within the digital society and the wider world through organic, personalised programmes, one-to-one support, online guidance, and adaptive teaching and tuition methods. 

Reign Academy is a limited company founded and registered with Company House in August 2022. The aim is to provide in person and online digital tuition services to underachieving students and students who have developed huge gaps in their learning due to the impact of the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic and other learning challenges in Maths and English up to GCSE level. Reign Academy also prepares students for the 11+, 12+ and 13+ exams to gain admission into Private Secondary Schools, Grammar Schools and Independent Secondary Schools. We have recorded 100% progress and 99% pass for the past year.

Other Services

Reign Academy also provides mentoring and coaching support for Newly qualified teachers and teachers returning to teaching, providing them with the knowledge, guidance and skills they require in order to gain confidence in planning and teaching the curriculum. 

Reign Academy also provides tuition services for adults who want to improve their basic skills to enable them to enjoy communication with others in English, cope with the job market requirements, and succeed in the global world. 

Reign Academy also acts as a signpost to International student teachers, newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers who are new to the United Kingdom with basic skills needed  to cope with the British curriculum and the challenges of the school system. Reign Academy goes beyond traditional teaching by offering expert tips, innovative ideas, and dedicated support to transform and enhance your classroom environment.

Support for Parents/Guardian 

Reign Academy provides support for parents with the exam application forms for admission of their children into Private Secondary Schools, Grammar Schools and Independent Secondary Schools.

Reign Academy has put together an E-Guide Book (English Mastery with Reign and Maths Mastery with Reign) developed from over 10 years of teaching experience for parents to use as a guide in supporting their children’s learning, homework, and other tasks needed to accomplish their educational needs and personal development.
